UMES Workshop - High Tunnel Raspberry & Blackberry Production

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore will host the final workshop in its series of small farm workshops on Saturday, March 31. Dr. Harry Swartz of Five Aces Breeding in Garrett County, Md. will join UMES faculty Dr. Tom Handwerker of the Small Farm Institute and Michael Sigrist of the Small Farm Program, to discuss "High Tunnel Raspberry and Blackberry Production." The workshop will be held at the UMES Food Science and Technology Building and will include a visit with hands-on demonstrations in the UMES high tunnels. The three hour workshop begins at 10 a.m.
